Thank You Dan Dunne!

Councilmember Dan Dunne, a longtime resident, supporter of all things Liberty Lake, and recently elected to another City Council term, chose to donate his remaining surplus campaign funds to The Friends of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library where they will be used to support and enhance programs, materials and equipment for the Library.

Dan attended the recent monthly Friends meeting and presented his donation of over $300 to the Friends which was graciously received by Treasurer Lola Douthitt. Thank you, Dan, for your generous gift and ongoing support to The Friends and the Library’s present and future!

We’ll Take your Unwanted Books and More!

Thank You Ridgeline High School Business Club!

On the evening of February 9th, the Ridgeline Business Club (DECA/FBLA) hosted the inaugural Falcon Formal Fashion Show in the RHS Theater with over 30 Ridgeline students modeling formal wear from show partners, David’s Bridal and Tuxedo Gallery. These terrific students, led by advisors Kelli Demarest and Sherri Jeske, decided to donate a generous portion of the profits to the Friends of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library.

The Friends Board, represented by Lola Douthitt, Joanne Marabello, and Betty Kennedy were very honored to receive a donation of $368 from these community-minded students that will be used to provide future programs and workshops of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library.
